She also meets Kon at Ichigo's house shortly after (accidentally) acquiring a stuffed bird plushie body (beating him up because she wasn't satisfied with the body she ended up with). Ririn gets assigned to Ichigo, which initially upsets her, since she doesn't like him at first. Īfter explaining to Ichigo and his friends about the Bounts, Urahara decides to assign each Mod Soul to Ichigo and his friends. Ririn then proves to be in league with Kisuke Urahara, and that she and her friends are Mod-Souls. After Ichigo and his friends discover that Kurōdo is posing as Sado, Ririn announces that the final game is now beginning because they must find the real Sado. Keeping her word, she returns Chad and Orihime, only now Kurōdo is posing as one of them. Ririn uses Noba's ability to create a maze, which Uryū Ishida finds a way out of. Once they successfully follow her orders, Kurōdo disguises himself as Orihime in order to kidnap Yasutora Sado. She then tests (in the form of forced "games") Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends by telling them a series of locations and corresponding time limits to reach them. Ririn instructs Kurōdo to disguise himself and retrieve Orihime Inoue. Ririn revealed to be in league with Urahara Note: Events occurring in this arc are only in the anime and do not constitute canon material. She often appears to consider Kon inferior to her and her two comrades, which causes frequent arguments between the two. She is immature and arrogant at times, but shows genuine concern for her friends, going so far as to step into harm's way several times to help or save Ichigo, Rukia, Kon and the others. At first she dislikes him due to their sometimes-conflicting personalities, but grows to be very fond of him, even becoming jealous of Rukia Kuchiki's close relationship with him. Ririn considers herself to be the leader of the three Bount-sensing Modified Soul (herself, Noba, and Kurōdo), and has a marked fondness for games. While not in her Gigai, she inhabits an bird-shaped plushie with a blue-hooded coat and red bowtie. When she was testing Ichigo and his friends, she carried a pink clock with a golden heart handle. She wears a pink, fur-trimmed coat, a black bird-shaped cape, and red boots.
